May 24, on the Day of Remembrance of Saints Equal to the Apostles Cyril and Methodius, Russia traditionally celebrates the Day of Slavic writing and culture. The Russian Embassy in the UAE, with the active support of the Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots, announces a poetry contest and invites everyone to take part in it.
The goals and objectives of the competition. The project aims to preserve the cultural heritage of Slavic writing and culture.
The order of the competition. The poetry contest "The Source of Poetry is Beauty" is held from February 10 to May 10, 2012.
Terms of participation in the competition:
- Any author who writes poetry in Russian can take part in the competition.
- Accepted poetic collections of no more than 5 poems.
Competition application conditions
To participate in the competition, you must send the competition material to the email address: [email protected] with a note in the subject line of the letter "Poetry is beauty." The competitor must indicate the name, age, telephone and email address. Summing up the competition. The competition results will be published in the Russian Emirates and Aviamost magazines, as well as on the websites www.uae.mid.ru, www.rossiyanka.ae/ru, www.chatru.com. Winners will be notified by email.
