Starwood has announced the opening of Aloft Hotel near the famous Deira City Center Mall in Dubai.
The result of the agreement between Majid Al Futtaim and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will be the opening in 2018 of the Aloft Hotel in Dubai, which will be directly connected to the Deira City Center Mall.
Aloft Dubai Deira City Center will consist of 304 rooms, including 29 suites, as well as a VOX open-air cinema on the roof and a number of rooms made in cinematic style. The hotel will introduce Starwood SPG Keyless technology, which allows guests to use their smartphone or smartwatch as a room key.
The contract for the construction of Aloft Dubai Deira City Center was signed with Laing O'Rourke, and work began already in early June. The facility is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018.
