Irina, hello. Please tell us when your company was created and what does it do today?
Millionaire Group was founded in 2006 and specialized in interior design. Moreover, initially, we only developed projects, and all work was carried out by contractors. Over the years, we have expanded our areas of activity and added landscape design, direct furniture deliveries from Italy, curtains and drapes to our services. Today, for example, we cooperate with 16 furniture factories in Italy, which greatly facilitates our work in decorating rooms and allows our customers to make their own choice. Moreover, knowing that interior design usually begins with a general repair and installation of additional power points for lamps, wiring, switches, we began to offer electrician services, the installation of air conditioners, and mechanical types of work. Today we have every opportunity to carry out a complete repair and decoration of the interior of the premises on a turnkey basis.
What projects have already been implemented by the Millionaire Group, and what are the immediate plans?
We worked and are working on the design of houses and apartments for private customers in the UAE and Dubai, in such prestigious areas of the city as Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Emirates Hills, Springs, Meadows and others. For example, we have completed several turnkey villa projects on Palm Jumeirah. I want to note that our specialists working in these villas offered comprehensive solutions, including landscaping with the construction of gazebos and barbecue areas, and the restructuring of pools and jacuzzis, and the equipment of saunas and cold rooms, and so on. We have signed a cooperation agreement with one Italian architect, whose name is Luigio. This person developed the interior design for Silvio Berlusconi himself. That is, I want to say that we can find a suitable solution for any customer, no matter how difficult the future project is.
If we talk about the corporate sector, we are often contacted to arrange a restaurant, shop or office. So we worked in several large store-salons on Sheikh Zayed Road, designed Nafco showrooms, as well as the interiors of Cartier and Gucci boutiques in the Dubai Mall, according to the finished projects of these customers. Everyone knows that the design of company stores does not differ from each other in different countries of the world. In the future, we plan to continue to develop this area, as well as expand the portfolio of private orders.
Please tell us more about the project of the Al Shorfa restaurant in the Trident Residences building, located directly opposite the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa?
This restaurant, in terms of architecture and design, is our own project. Our company, at the request of a customer from Russia, developed a floor plan, all utilities and air conditioning systems, received the necessary permissions from the water and electricity supply department.
Today, repair work in the restaurant is in its final stages. In its decor, we, at the request of the customer, used a blue-gold gamut that resonates with the traditions of the region and, at the same time, gives the room a modern look. All furniture, lamps and decorative elements were brought by us from Italy. Already on the first of December, as we expect, its opening will take place. The main hall of the restaurant is designed for 60 seats, and its first visitors can not only enjoy Arabic dishes (mainly traditional Syrian and Lebanese) in it, but also spend the evening outdoors and smoke a hookah. I must add that the restaurant will work around the clock and carry out home delivery of food.
The plans include the development of the Al Shorfa restaurant chain throughout the UAE, and to begin with, their opening at the Dubai Mall in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah. And then advancement throughout the region - in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
Great plans! How many people are working on their implementation?
Today, the Millionaire Group employs 150 people. Designers and architects from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus work with us. I am an architect by training and have been doing what I love all my life, so I plan on further growth and development of the company. I live in each of our projects and I am very pleased to see the happy eyes of the customer when everything turned out as it should. So, we plan to open our own Millionaire shop-salon on Sheikh Zayed Road in March, where customers can purchase a million different things that they need to repair and decorate premises, as well as interior decor. There we will present furniture, and building materials, and various necessary trifles, including bedding, dishes, and napkins. In addition to all of the above, we are developing a design project for a new hotel under construction on the island of Yas Island.
