The UAE Foreign Ministry expressed condolences in connection with the murder of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov.
Dubai, UAE. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE sent condolences in connection with the murder of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov in Turkey the night before, on December 19, to the family of the deceased, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.
The agency also condemned the terrorist attack on the diplomatic worker and reaffirmed his commitment to renounce violence and terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was mortally wounded during his speech at the opening of a photo exhibition in Ankara and died in a hospital. A 22-year-old terrorist was shot dead by Turkish police at the crime scene. The Russian Foreign Ministry qualified the crime as a terrorist attack.
