Bu Tinah Island off the coast of Abu Dhabi may become one of the "Seven Wonders of Nature"

Jean-Paul de la Fuent, director of the New Seven Wonders of the World Foundation, met with the leadership of the Abu Dhabi Environmental Protection Agency (EAD) to discuss Bu Tinah Island as one of the Seven New Wonders of Nature.

The island of Bu Tinah, located off the coast of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, has become one of the finalists of the international competition, which aims to identify by voting the seven most outstanding natural wonders of the world. The list of finalists includes 27 more candidates for the title of one of the seven wonders of nature, including the Galapagos Islands, the Great Barrier Reef, the Dead Sea, Mount Kilimanjaro and others. The island of Bu Tinah - the only natural attraction of the Persian Gulf, which reached the finals of the competition.

The final list of applicants for the title of one of the "Seven New Natural Wonders of the World" was compiled on the basis of a vote that revealed the finalists among the initially declared 447 unique natural phenomena of the world. Final voting results will be announced this November. The fact that Bu Tinah Island was among the candidates for the role of one of the natural wonders of the world once again confirms the attractiveness of the UAE as a country with many cultural and tourist, but also natural wealth.
