For the whole country, which on December 2, 2010 will celebrate its only 39th birthday, but who gathered us here once for some reason or good reason, is not in a hurry to let it go. Together with you, we have come to another milestone that is significant for us - the fortieth edition of our magazine, which has outstripped even the UAE's “name day” by a whole unit. And it seems to me that this is for the best!
Of course, 40 is not quite an anniversary, but the date is round. And let the superstitious citizens say that "forty do not celebrate." But we do not believe in signs, and if we believe, then only in the good, and we don’t notice the bad. To nothing. Moreover, there are so many reasons for joy! Our magazines are now distributed throughout the Emirates. Is this not a joy? The army of our readers is growing day by day. The most outstanding people from the world of fashion and show business, sports and haute cuisine, watchmaking, tourism and other leading sectors of the economy meet and enjoy communicating with us.
We are aware of all the events that we are trying to talk about objectively and immediately. They trust us, they quote us, they criticize us and they copy us .... And this only speaks about one thing - they either love or dislike us, but there are no people whom our print media, Internet portals or social initiatives would leave indifferent. And this is the greatest joy for all employees of the Russian Emirates Publishing House.
Of course, to become the same media mogul like the famous Ted Turner with his CNN, you need to be “ahead of the planet” at all costs. But we do not like "fried", as we lead a healthy lifestyle. We are for the “dish” to be tasty, beautifully decorated and well served. It’s so nice to pick up a high-quality gloss, especially when Christmas and New Year holidays are looming on the horizon, which means you can spend a day or two lounging with a magazine on the couch or on the beach and find out, for example, how the cheerful and unpredictable jeweler Stephen Webster breathes who, on occasion, bought a Russian motorcycle with a sidecar, or why a look at the female fashion of a male couturier is very different from the point of view of a famous female fashion designer. And we have ahead of plans - a lot! And until the anniversary, 50th issue, there was a whole chasm of time and an endless field for creativity. It follows (in a whisper, almost a toast): "“ Russian Emirates ”- to all Emirates!" And if someone doesn’t like this appeal, then "don’t read at breakfast ...". Well, don’t read anything! You will not be aware of what is happening, but then we are not to blame. To all the rest - gratitude "with entering into a private matter" for many years of support and feedback.
