From time immemorial, man has been looking for ways to report the onset of an hour with a sound signal, equipping clocks and pendulums with bells, gongs and balls capable of making sounds. Now imagine an object whose sophisticated aesthetics can fully satisfy a person’s unlimited desire to be surrounded by stories, emotions and dreams ... The idea, initiated by two sound enhancements, was to create a work worthy of Perrelet dynamism. She accepted this challenge and radically changed the well-known device for a long time, so the “MAESTRO” Perrelet series was born.
The first “MAESTRO” Perrelet enhancement is the A1038 / 1 five-minute repeater, automatic, with functions of hours, minutes and central seconds. Equipped with a caliber P-201, the sound mechanism of this repeater can optionally be turned off by pressing the button located opposite the number "8". The first low repeater sound counts the clock. Doubled - high and low - sounds beat off five-minute intervals.
The second is the Alarm, in which the invention of Abraham-Louis Perelet plays a dual role. Caliber P-121 is equipped with two energy storage drums. Rotating in one direction, the rotor energizes the sound mechanism, and when rotated in the other - the basic functions of the clock. Both self-winding mechanisms are housed in a stainless steel case. They can be easily identified by the corrugation characteristic of the brand.
