Qatar citizens were given 14 days to leave the UAE

The United Arab Emirates provided Qatar with 48 hours to leave the country, and 14 days for other citizens.

The UAE granted 48 hours to the diplomatic mission of Qatar in Abu Dhabi to leave the country amid a severance of diplomatic relations.

Ordinary citizens of Qatar living in the UAE were given a period of 14 days to leave the country. Qatar citizens are also prohibited from using the UAE as a transit country. Emirates are also prohibited from being or even passing through the territory of Qatar by any means.

The UAE was one of four Arab states that broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar and limited air and sea communications due to the threat of state support for terrorism. Saudi Arabia said it would also close its land border with Qatar.
