“Letters” Calligraphy Exhibition Held at Dubai Mall

The exhibition of calligraphy and art of young artists from the UAE and the Middle East - “Letters” (“Letters”) was held under the patronage of Sheikh Majid bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chairman of the Dubai Department of Culture and Art, in the atrium of Dubai Mall.

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Muhammad also honored with his presence this interesting exhibition, at which local young artists and students of art universities presented their work in one of the most ancient Arab art forms - calligraphy. The event was sponsored by the German company Montblanc, known as a manufacturer of luxury goods, jewelry, watches, as well as exclusive writing instruments.

Recall that recently the Montblanc company, represented in 70 countries, supported the UNISEF initiative aimed at combating illiteracy of children around the world, transferring an amount of AED 5.5 million (US $ 1.5 million) to ensure that all children in need were able to learn to read and write. As a sponsor of the calligraphy exhibition, Montblanc continued its charity work, “Signature for Good,” aimed at promoting young talents.
