Abu Dhabi International Airport will fly to Kiev

The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) confirmed the information on the conclusion of an agreement with the Ukrainian airline Ukraine International Airlines on direct flights on the Abu Dhabi - Kiev route.

The first flight of the Ukrainian airline from Abu Dhabi International Airport is scheduled for Friday, September 25. Further, flights from Abu Dhabi to Kiev will be operated twice a week on Mondays and Fridays, and from Kiev to Abu Dhabi on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Ukraine International Airlines will use a Boeing 737 airliner equipped with two classes of passenger seats - business and economic - to operate these flights. The flight duration will be five and a half hours. The opening of a new flight from the United Arab Emirates to Ukraine is one of the key components in the formation of sustainable business relations between the two countries. In addition, in order to strengthen trade and economic ties, the Council for Enterprise Affairs of Ukraine and the UAE (Ukraine - UAE Business Council) has recently been formed. "We are extremely pleased to welcome Ukrainian airlines at the Abu Dhabi International Airport and the opening of a new route to Kiev here. For our airport, this new initiative will be another important step in increasing flights to cities in Eastern Europe," said Mohammed Al-Buluki, vice President, Department of Aviation Marketing and Revenue, ADAC.

"The opening of a new route for Ukraine International Airlines received a positive response from Ukrainian businessmen and tourists. The Abu Dhabi - Kiev - Abu Dhabi route will be extremely convenient for Ukrainian and Emirate passengers traveling to both countries on business and on vacation," said Yuriy Miroshnikov, president of Ukraine’s International Airlines.
