Dubai will build the world's largest Ferris wheel

The construction of Ain Dubai, the world's tallest Ferris wheel, has been nearly completed.

On Wednesday, construction company Meraas confirmed the installation of the fifth of eight sections of the Ain-Dubai Ferris wheel 107 meters high.

The construction of the Ferris wheel in Dubai is taking place on Bluewaters, the installation of the wheel rim section is one of the key stages of work.

Upon completion, Ain Dubai will become a distinctive destination for tourists and will allow everyone to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city and coastline.

The height of the Ain Dubai Ferris Wheel is 210 meters, which is higher than the Ferris Wheel in Las Vegas (167 meters) and New York (190 meters).

The Ain-Dubai wheel axle and drum were mounted in 2016, after completion, the structure will consist of 9,000 tons of steel, which is almost 25% higher than that used to build the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris.
