When developing the case, preference was given to ceramics - a material whose processing is only possible for craftsmen of the highest class. Working with ceramics that is resistant to external influences and unique in its uniformity in structure requires not only the high-temperature processing technologies necessary to give it a certain shape, but also the ability to finish this incredibly hard material with exceptional accuracy. The dial, made in the technique of hot enamel, amazes with the perfection of its finish. The dazzling white color, extremely rarely used to create watches, is also one of the distinguishing characteristics of this model.
The new Jaquet Droz watch symbolizes the union of the hot enamel technique and modern ceramics processing technology inherited from the 17th century masters, which are very successful in the 21st century.
The creation of the Grande Seconde Ceramique Blanche model, equipped with an automatic winding mechanism with two winding reels, is based on the best traditions of the Jaquet Droz manufactory, which are most pronounced in bold lines, unique design, high reliability and precision of the mechanism, as well as in the use of an integrated rubber bracelet invariably white color. A true masterpiece of fine watchmaking, the Tourbillon Reserve de Marche watch in a case with a diameter of 47 mm is characterized by a three-dimensional display of indicators, the originality of which is emphasized by prominent contrasting bezels, as well as counters and hands made of black gold and blued steel, arranged in a traditional way and giving the watch special expressiveness and volume .
