THE FIRST SCHOOL OF JIT-KUN-DO UNIVERSAL STAR MARTIAL ARTS CLUB OPENED IN THE UAE, WITH WHICH THE FOUNDER WE MEET AND VICTORY. SO, THE GUESTS OF THE "RUSSIAN EMIRATES" KUBANYCHBEK TOROBAEV. WORKING BEFORE OPENING YOUR OWN SCHOOL TWO YEARS BY THE KUN-FU INSTRUCTOR IN THE "ACADEMY OF MARTIAL ARTS", KUBANYBEK TOROBAYEV SHARES TODAY YOUR PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.
People who are familiar with martial arts and are not familiar with them will be interested to know what jit-kun-do is. The founder of the jit-kun-do style is Bruce Lee, who brought together the techniques of all martial arts. For example, the movie star took the position of hands from boxing, tricks from the legs from taekwondo, tricks with hands from apkido (a type of Korean hand-to-hand combat) and aikido. The resulting synthesis was called gin-kun-do. According to Kubanychbek Torobaev, "jit-kun-do techniques should allow a person to defend himself in an attack of up to four people at a time."
Kubanychbek Torobaev himself studied martial arts for two years in 2003-2005. at Yantai School (the largest martial arts school in China), among whose pupils there are such famous fighters as Bolo Young, Jet Li and others. Kubanychbek told us that before opening his own martial arts school in Dubai, he studied taekwondo techniques and is the owner of II dan (black belt) in Kyrgyzstan, and is part of the country's national team. In addition, for some time he worked as a hand-to-hand combat instructor at the Tiger security agency in Nizhny Novgorod.
Today, about 40 people are studying at the first jit-kun-do school in the UAE, which is led by Kubanychbek. “There are many police officers among my students,” he says. “Nowadays, many security agencies and professional police units choose jit-kun-do from all martial arts. The difference between this type of martial art and others, for example, from karate, is that the principle of karate-do is based on defense first, and only then on offensive tricks, and the jitkun-do technique is based on an instant counterattack, ”explains Kubanychbek.
“Before I got acquainted with jute-kun-do, I studied many martial arts. I started, like many young guys, from boxing, later I practiced karate-do, taekwondo and other types of hand-to-hand fighting. But over time I realized that in jit-kun-do "there are tricks from all martial arts. It was this type of struggle that seemed to me the most interesting."
The secret of successful training is a long and repeated repetition of techniques. Kubanychbek is guided by this principle, which was applied by Bruce Lee. “For perfect mastery of the technique, you need to repeat it 1000 times,” says the trainer. And he not only speaks, but also does it himself, demanding the same from his students. “By the way, the strongest jit-kun-do masters are able to carry out from 4 to 10 beats per second,” says Kubanychbek. - "And I try to teach those who have chosen jit-kundo for themselves, the same instant reaction and swiftness in response to the attack of the enemy."
The new jit-kun-do school is located in Dubai, in the Jumeirah-1 district, in the Sheikh Hind gym. All details about the training schedule and training conditions can be found by phone: 050-4400696.
