Flydubai presents its program for the winter season during the REST 2017 exhibition, which opened today in Moscow. flydubai is exhibiting for the third time in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing (DTCM).

From the end of October, flydubai will operate 40 flights a week to 10 destinations in Russia. The route network will replenish Voronezh, Makhachkala and Ufa. Now the geography of flights covers Kazan, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and Yekaterinburg.

Jeyhun Efendi, senior vice president of flydubai for commercial operations in the UAE, the Middle East, the CIS and Europe, said: “Dubai continues to be a popular route among Russians, and we are pleased to increase the number of flights to Russia. Our airline operates on "the Russian market since 2010. New destinations and additional flights will provide our passengers with more choice and more flexibility when flying to Dubai and to other destinations."

Demand for travel to the United Arab Emirates this year has grown markedly due to the simplification of the visa regime. Now, Russian citizens can obtain a visa in the UAE for 30 days automatically upon arrival in the country. The new rules, in particular, contributed to the growth of tourist flow from Russia to Dubai by 97% from the first six months of 2017, according to DTCM.

flydubai flies to 97 destinations in 44 countries, including popular routes among Russian tourists: Dubai (UAE), Bangkok (Thailand), Zanzibar (Tanzania), Colombo (Sri Lanka) and Kathmandu (Nepal). Thanks to interline agreements with international carriers, flydubai offers its passengers convenient connections in Dubai for traveling to more than 200 destinations.
