Michelin-starred chef opens bakery in Dubai

Thomas Keller, a Michelin-starred chef, will open new establishments in Dubai and Kuwait.

On November 13th, chef Thomas Keller, seven Michelin-starred, will open the first Bouchon Bakery at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) in Dubai.

A variety of breakfasts, pastries for morning snacks and takeaway dishes, including cold and traditional teas, coffee, as well as classic French desserts such as lemon cakes, pastries and the famous TKO cookies (Oreo by Thomas Keller), will be presented at the establishment. The menu reflects Keller's commitment to classic French and American cuisines.

Bouchon Bakery will adorn the facade in warm green tones and an old cast-iron street lamp. The interior will resemble traditional French bakeries. Design elements will include antique wall sconces, original Tihany chairs and classic wood floors. In the cooler months, guests will also find places to eat next to the establishment.

The bakery was founded by Keller in 2003 and has several points in the USA. After opening in Dubai, it will also be launched in Kuwait.
