In Dubai prevented the suicide of a teenager

Dubai Emirate Rescue Services saved a boy who was trying to take his own life.

Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services (DCAS) rescued a teenager from South Asia who tried to commit suicide in Dubai. The boy was about to jump out of the window of an apartment in Al Karama, where he lived with his family.

The DCAS team reached the building within 5 minutes from Bur Dubai.

When the paramedics entered the apartment, the teenager made a desperate attempt to jump out of the window. However, rescuers acted quickly and prevented the tragedy. Despite the fact that the boy was already halfway outside the building, paramedics were able to drag him by the legs. After that, experts reassured the teenager and provided him with first aid. Then they took him to Rashed Hospital.

DCAS manager Taleb Galum Taleb emphasized that the corporation provides its paramedics and drivers with the skills to act efficiently and quickly during an emergency. He noted that the services provided by DCAS are aimed at saving lives.
