Abu Dhabi marks next anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kazakhstan and the UAE

Abu Dhabi widely celebrated the next anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Arab Emirates organized a gala reception on December 12, 2017 on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.

The Embassy event was attended by UAE officials, heads of the diplomatic corps, international organizations accredited in Abu Dhabi, representatives of business circles, and the media.

The main guests of the reception of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Abu Dhabi were the UAE Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahayyan bin Mubarak Al Nahayyan, as well as the Minister for Religious and Civil Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Yermekbayev, who participated in the IV International Forum for the Promotion of Peace in Muslim Societies.

In his speech, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Abu Dhabi Kairat Kaiyrbekuly Lama Sharif noted that "Relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates, based on the principles of mutual respect, trust and openness, can be considered an example of stable and successful political and economic cooperation. Without a doubt, this the trend became possible due to the fact that trustees were established between the leaders of the two countries - the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and the President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan e relationship. The ambassador emphasized that "there are about two hundred joint ventures with emirate capital in Kazakhstan. According to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from 2005 to 2016, the gross inflow of direct investment from the UAE to the Kazakh economy exceeded $ 2 billion."
