Dubai, UAE. In Dubai, in the Sports City area, a round-the-clock Book Hero bookstore has opened, which operates without staff, even robots. Anyone can get acquainted with a collection of 20 thousand books, and payment can be put in the "trust box".
Store owners come here only once a day to update their assortment and collect cash. All books are marked with yellow and green stickers with a value of 10 to 20 dirhams. In the store you can buy books in different languages, including Russian.
“Even if goods worth 350 dirhams are stolen from me, it’s nothing compared to the costs saved on staff wages,” said the owner of the store, Montserrat Martin.
