The first cinema-themed hotel in the Middle East opens in Dubai.
Majid Al Futtaim and Marriott International on Wednesday announced the opening of the Aloft City Center Deira, the third Aloft hotel in Dubai.
Aloft City Center Deira is the first hotel in the region to offer cinema-themed rooms. The hotel is also equipped with a VOX Cinemas outdoor screen by Majid Al Futtaim.
Jilil Mekur, general manager of the hotel business at Majid Al Futtaim - Properties, said: “I am pleased to announce the opening of the Aloft City Center Deira, which is our 13th hotel in the region. This is an important stage for Majid Al Futtaim - we are integrating our brand for the first time VOX Cinemas to one of our hotels. "
Aloft is directly affiliated with City Center Deira. The hotel offers 304 rooms and suites with an attic, including four themed rooms in which movie buffs can instantly take you to the magical world of movies. It offers suites in the style of Bollywood, Hollywood, Agent House and a superhero room.
Aloft City Center Deira also offers six restaurants such as Han Shi Fu - a modern Chinese and Asian gastropub, The Canteen, W XYZ® Bar & Lounge, Re: fuel from AloftSM and Re: mixSM Lounge.
Aloft City Center Deira is already the fourth facility opened in collaboration between Majid Al Futtaim and Marriott International after the Sheraton Dubai Mall of the Emirates, Le Meridien City Center Bahrain and Westin City Center Bahrain, as well as the 13th hotel in the Majid Al Futtaim portfolio .
