Russian low-cost airline may begin to fly to the United Arab Emirates

Pobeda Airlines plans to launch flights from Moscow to the United Arab Emirates.

Pobeda Airlines has applied for access to international scheduled passenger services on the Moscow-Sharjah (UAE) route.

As specified in the press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia), company representatives applied for admission to international regular passenger services on the Moscow-Sharjah route.

From the materials of the interagency commission for admitting airlines to air transportation, it follows that in case of obtaining an admission, Pobeda will operate up to seven flights a week from Moscow to the third largest UAE emirate.

In addition, the company has applied for flights from Moscow to Italian Turin and from Krasnodar to Istanbul, the Moscow agency reports.

Pobeda (legal name of Pobeda Airlines LLC) is a Russian low-cost airline, a 100% subsidiary of Aeroflot, based at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow, founded on September 16, 2014. Nineteen Boeing 737-800s operate flights for more than forty directions.
