New Jumeirah Hotel Opens in Dubai This Fall

The traditional Al Seef Hotel will open in Dubai in September.

Dubai Jumeirah Hotel Group announces the opening of the new Al Seef Hotel in Dubai in September.

The 200-room hotel is located next to Dubai Creek. Its architecture refers to the heritage of the United Arab Emirates. It occupies 22 traditional Arab houses, which are located in clusters of two or three buildings, connected by a bridge over the bazaar and the common courtyard.

The rooms are decorated with traditional fabrics, wooden beams, lamps, large windows with traditional wooden panels, antique lights and carpets.

The hotel will also be equipped with Barjeel - wind towers that were once used to ventilate homes to air conditioning.

The hotel will start accepting bookings from the end of July. The room rate is 250 dirhams ($ US 68) per night, excluding additional municipal fees.

Alessandro Cabella, regional manager of the Jumeirah Group, said: "Great attention was paid to the design of rooms and courtyards so that our guests can feel the spirit of the past."

Al Seef, built by Meraas, includes restaurants, cafes, shops and squares located on the south coast of Dubai Creek.

Al Seef Hotel will be the twelfth Jumeirah hotel in Dubai and the 23rd in the world.
