The Santa Claus Christmas Marathon will be held for the first time in Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. The first Santa Claus run in Dubai’s history starts on December 21 from the Dubai Festival City shopping and entertainment complex (at 08.30). Traditionally, hundreds of runners dressed in Santa’s traditional outfit take part in such marathons in Europe.
The race will be held at two distances: 2.5 km for children and beginners and 5 km for experienced athletes. All participants will receive a Santa Claus T-shirt, cap and false beard. The organizers are asking everyone to dress up creatively, as prizes for the best costume are provided.
The marathon will bring festive mood and a lot of fun to Dubai. The participation fee is 175 dirhams. Registration closes on December 20 at 17.00.
