The Rosguard team entered the top five following the results of prestigious international special forces competitions in Dubai.
On February 14, the UAE Swat Challenge ended in the United Arab Emirates. They were attended by more than sixty teams of special forces from forty countries of the world.
For the first time in these prestigious international competitions, a special forces team of the Russian Guard took part, which included servicemen from the Vityaz special-purpose center and officers of the Rys.
For five days, on the territory of the training center "Al Ruwayaa Training City" in Dubai, special forces demonstrated their professional skills in various conditions of the operational environment. So, one of the tests was a special operation to free the hostages. At another stage of the competition, special forces had to provide a security perimeter during the visit of officials. The tests associated with high-altitude training, overcoming a special obstacle course and performing various shooting exercises against the background of physical exertion became difficult.
Many tasks were arranged in such a way that to achieve the result, commandos needed to demonstrate not only personal professional skills, but also the ability to work in a team, high physical fitness, and the ability to quickly make the only right decision in an extreme situation.
The fourth place of the Rosguard team at the competitions in Dubai proves once again that the special forces of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation are one of the most trained and professional in the world.
