On March 21, clarinet player Paul Meyer and pianist Eric Lesage will perform the most popular French tunes at the Dubai Opera. The concert is part of the celebration of the centennial of Debussy. The French duet will perform works by Ravel, Saint-Saens, Chausson and Poulenc.
Meyer is known for his solo recordings and has earned a reputation as the best performer of modern music. He has performed with the best orchestras in the world, such as the French National Orchestra and the Paris Orchestra, and has performed works by contemporary composers, including Gerd Kure and Krzysztof Penderetsky.
Lesage is considered one of the leading pianists of its generation. He has won many international competitions such as the Porto International Music Competition and the Robert Schuman International Competition.
