The play "Land of Shadows" will be shown at the Dubai International Trade Center from September 13 to 15. SHADOWLAND is one of the most bewitching performances of the Pilobolus Contemporary Dance Theater.
This is a universal chamber production combining drama and comedy. The plot is in the surreal associations of a young girl. The dance show is accompanied by specially written music for this and is based on a synthesis of corporate dance style and multimedia technologies.
Pilobolus is a modern dance group that has largely changed ideas about modernist ballet and turned upside down ideas about the coordinate system on the stage and the law of universal gravitation. Dancers compose choreographic performances collectively, successfully combining dance with the genre of shadow theater, Japanese zentai costume art, facial expressions and gymnastics.
