Watch Black Jaguar White Tiger

The Swiss watch company Hublot has released a limited collection of watches in support of the Black Jaguar White Tiger (BJWT) private fund for saving and rehabilitating Big Cats. The founder of the foundation, Eduardo Serio, is actively broadcasting the real life of the pets he saved through various social media channels, including Facebook and Instagram. So, his Instagram account is today one of the most popular in the world - he has more than 5.8 million subscribers. Both Hublot and BJWT care about nature and want to make the world a better place. Their goal is to save several species of wild animals, primarily Big Cats - tigers, lions, leopards and jaguars, whose population is rapidly declining. Today in the world there are only about 30,000 thousand lions (there were 110,000) and 3200 tigers (previously there were 45,000).

The president of the LVMH watch division, Jean-Claude Beaver, together with Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, presented watches at the BJWT foundation, which is located in Mexico. “All living things deserve respect. Now you can wear not just a beautiful watch on your wrist, but a symbol of our union and our struggle for the environment,” said Mr. Beaver.

Hublot has released three exclusive cat-themed chronographs. The circulation of two of them - steel and ceramic - amounted to 100 copies, and the third, gold, came out in the amount of 50 pieces.

“We discussed this project for several months, and I managed to work closely with Hublot on the design,” said Eduardo Serio. “It was a great honor for me to see the finished watch and share my pride with the Hublot brand and family.” The collaboration between Hublot and BJWT is a long-term project: everything is just beginning. So, the plans are to open new reserves for animals and attract public attention to the problem of poaching. The companies assured that they will do much more to make our planet stronger and preserve its rich and diverse wildlife.
