Contrasts: visible / invisible

A group photo exhibition Contrasts, which tells about the amazing transformation of the United Arab Emirates, is held at The Ajman Palace, from March 26 to April 16.

A new generation of photographers presented in their works "visible and invisible" in the life of a young country. Photos are in different genres: portrait, landscape, street sketch and architectural wonders. Laurent Vuvenel, CEO of the Hospitality Management Holdings group, managing the Ajman Palace hotel in the emirate of Ajman, said:

“We are pleased to host this fascinating exhibition. In fact, it became a platform for young emirate photographers who were able to demonstrate their special look and unusual presentation. They wandered around the emirates, enjoying their pace of life and unusual beauty, noting the dramas and events of everyday life ... And they prepared many surprises for their viewers. "

In total, the exhibition collected more than 80 works presented by 13 photographers: some of them make you think, others just give vivid impressions. For example, the author of Maita bint Khalid addresses his messages to the world through his works. According to her, photography is a universal language that does not require translation, and the best for expressing thoughts.

According to Dubai photographer Kevin J. Larkin, with the advent of new technologies it has become easier to shoot, but more difficult to create an aesthetic image, as it was in the era of black and white cinema. Russian woman Katerina Smoldyreva, who also presented her work as part of the exposition, in turn, noted: “When I photograph, I see life. I don’t have a finished photo in my head. I don’t worry about whether the photo will work. Everyone can take a picture, not everyone - to catch life as it is. "

All pictures are for sale.
