Cruise terminal opens in Abu Dhabi in 2015

The cruise terminal at the port of Mina Zayed in Abu Dhabi will begin to receive tourists in the second half of 2015. The first ship to be anchored in the renewed harbor will be the magnificent ship Greatness of the Seas, owned by the operator Royal Caribbean, whose port of registry is currently Dubai.
According to the Office of Tourism and Culture of Abu Dhabi, in 2013 Abu Dhabi received 196 thousand cruise passengers, this year their number should increase to 200 thousand. Royal Caribbean International, the world's largest cruise operator, has already announced its plans for the 2015/16 season: in particular, during cruises on the Persian Gulf, its vessels will call at the ports of Muscat and Abu Dhabi.
