The best local Bin Drai Polo players and Saudi athletes from the Zedan Group met at the Diamond Polo Cup mini-championship at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club, located right behind the prestigious sleeping area of Arabian Ranches. The sponsors of the event - Emaar Properties and Rolls Royce - made the evening truly aristocratic, and with Veuve Cliquot House - expensive champagne just flowed like water! An elegant audience enjoyed a sporting event, sitting on snow-white sofas and participating in an auction from Laureus Sports, which collected 70,000 drh for charity. Even the children of secular parents had something to occupy themselves with - a special kindergarten from Asya's Nursery was specially organized for them.

Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge
The final championship of the Cartier International Dubai Polo Challenge, under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai, was held at the Dubai Equestrian Club Desert Palm. The Cartier team defeated the club team with a score of 10–9. The captain of the team Adriano Agosti received a prestigious trophy from the hands of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Muhammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the son of the Dubai ruler.
