Russian Embassy and Consulate General in the UAE open condolences books

The Embassy and Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the UAE accept condolences in connection with the tragic death of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey Andrei Karlov.

In connection with the tragic death of the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Turkey Andrei Karlov as a result of the terrorist attack in Ankara, condolences were opened at the Russian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Russian Consulate General in Dubai.

According to the Russian Emirates Publishing House, an entry in the book of condolences can be left on December 21 and 22 from 10:00 to 13:00 in the building of the Consulate General of Russia in Dubai. Also, Russian compatriots, citizens and residents of the UAE can send their condolences to the virtual book of condolences to the email address of the Russian Embassy in Abu Dhabi: [email protected].

Recall that the Russian ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was mortally wounded during his speech at the opening of the photo exhibition in Ankara and died in the hospital. A 22-year-old terrorist was shot dead by Turkish police at the crime scene. The Russian Foreign Ministry qualified the crime as a terrorist attack.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE sent condolences on the assassination of Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov in Turkey the night before, on December 19, 2016, to the family of the deceased, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.
