The Dubai Mall exhibits an original sculpture of 20 thousand balloons.
Dubai, UAE. The original sculpture of 20 thousand orange and yellow balloons called Skyward ("Up") is exhibited in the Dubai Mall The Dubai Mall. The structure is 18 meters high and weighs 30 kg and occupies three floors of the atrium near the entrance to the Souk section.
It is made by Florida experimental artist Jason Hackenvert. The production took 90 days, after 30 days the balls will begin to deflate slowly, after which the sculpture will be recycled.
