On June 10, 2019, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Muhammad bin Zayed al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the UAE, held a telephone conversation.
The leaders discussed the situation in the Persian Gulf and noted the importance of maintaining stability and security in the region.
The subject of dialogue was also the implementation of the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Russia and the UAE, signed last year.
