Bus connections will be established between Dubai airports

Due to the temporary transfer of some flights serviced at Dubai International Airport to the new Al Maktoum Airport, passengers will be able to use free bus service between the two airports from April 24 to July 20. The transfer of flights was caused by a decrease in the capacity of Dubai International Airport in connection with ongoing repairs.

The distance between the two airports is about 65 km, or about 1 hour by car or bus. Buses in both directions will depart every 30 minutes. Passengers will have to go through passport control and customs inspection at each airport.

The selection of airlines that were temporarily forced to transfer their flights to the new Dubai airport was carried out not only on the basis of the desire of the companies themselves (they were given preferential rates for some types of airport services as compensation), but also taking into account the proportion of passengers of these airlines make up transit passengers.

Transit passengers traveling from Dubai from May 1 to July 20 must make sure that they arrive and depart from the same airport when booking tickets. And if necessary, change the airport in Dubai - make sure that they have enough time for this.
